The conductor of a bus going from Jabalpur to Damoh died after being crushed by a heavy vehicle, an accident occurred while checking a fault in the bus.

Jitendra Maharaj, the conductor of a bus carrying passengers from Jabalpur in MP to village Kakarhati in Damoh, was crushed by a heavy vehicle coming from behind. When he had come down with the cleaner to check the fault in the bus near Gasabad. The cleaner was also injured in the accident. Seeing the accident, there was an outcry among the passengers in the bus.

In this regard, police officials said that the bus carrying passengers from Jabalpur left for Damoh. There was some fault in the front wheel of the bus near Gasabad. Due to which conductor Jitendra Maharaj and cleaner Raj Sen got down and started checking the wheel. During this time, the heavy vehicle that came in front hit him, as soon as the vehicle hit him, both of them jumped towards the front and the conductor Jitendra was crushed by the heavy vehicle. Jitendra died on the spot due to serious injuries on his body in the accident. Cleaner Raj got hurt. Seeing the accident, there was screaming among the passengers sitting in the bus. As soon as the news was received, police officers reached the spot and took the injured cleaner to the government hospital for treatment. After interrogation, the police has started an active search for the driver of the heavy vehicle.
