Apple has filed a case on leaking of iOS26 details on the famous YouTuber. The iPhone maker alleges that YouTuber has leaked the design of the upcoming operating system through its channel. Apple has filed this case against YouTuber John Prose (Jon Prossr) in the US California District Court. Videos of iOS26 were uploaded on John’s YouTube channel FrontPagetech.

In its case, Apple has also mentioned its product analyst Michael Ramacciotti in its case, which shared the secret of the phone’s design and the design of the iOS26 operating system to YouTuber. John Proser shared a video on his channel on 18 January this year, referring to the design of iOS19 (now iOS26). The company said in its complaint that the company received an e-mail on 4 April, in which the design of the operating system was leaked. Based on this, the company has sued YouTuber.
Apple said that this case has been done for the leak of the company’s trade secret. YouTuber and the company’s product analyst got information by contacting Ethan Lipnik, an employee working in the operating system designing team. Lipnik was later fired by the company. There was talk between these two through audio messages, in which information about the design of iOS26 was shared.
YouTuber has applied three videos on his channel FPT “Here’s your very first look at ios 19”, “Introducing iOS 19 | Exclusive first look” and “This video is the biggest iOS leak evr | IOS 19 Early Preview”, in which the information was shared about IOS26 with the title, in which IOS26 Is. However, YouTuber John Proser has rejected these claims of Apple with his X handle and told that he is ready to talk to the company in the matter.
