In the early 2000s, the craze of Indian TV serials was at its peak and Ekta Kapoor’s shows were dominated at prime time. Chetan Hansraj was part of several plays of Balaji Telefilms at that time. Recently, the actor remembered the days when he was doing three shows together and due to his busy schedule, he had neither time to go home nor gold. In such a situation, many times Chetan Hansraj used to sleep on the set of serial. Chetan considers it the most golden phase of his career.

When Chetan Hansraj was working in three shows together

In a conversation with Siddharth Kanan, Chetan Hansraj recalled the days when he was on his career peak. He had become a well-known face of the TV world and was working together in three shows. These three shows were ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’, ‘Kya Aasa Kya Haqiqat’ and ‘Kusum’, which were the most successful serials of that era. Remembering that time, Chetan Hansraj says- ‘At that time I was doing three shows together. I was shooting non-stop and whenever I got time, I would sleep on the set. I used to sleep among shots. ‘

Used to take leave in a week or two

Chetan Hansraj said that he used to take leave somehow sometimes in a week or two, that too when he used to get tired of shooting, he felt the need for rest and he used to take leave. Otherwise he used to work continuously, one set from one set, that too without any rest. His other fellow artists, who describe long shooting as a problem, Chetan Hansraj described it as the most important time of his career and said- ‘This was the most spectacular experience of my life. Golden period of television. ‘

Along with this, Chetan Hansraj also thanked Ekta Kapoor for giving him a chance. He explained how those shows improved his career and financial situations. He said- ‘When 2004 started, my bank balance was not as good. Rather, to be honest, it was very useless. But, by the end of 2004, I got married, took my house in Bandra and also a car, my first car, my whole life changed. ‘
