The enthusiasm of the youth was visible in the Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign, youth from every corner of the country came on the path of duty.
New Delhi, 31 October (Hindustan Reporter). There was a different scene on the duty path on Tuesday. The enthusiasm among the youth, the tricolor waving in their hands, the fragrance of soil brought from all over the country along with the slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai and the pride on their faces at getting respect for the soil of their village could clearly be seen. The program ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh Abhiyan’ organized by the Ministry of Culture witnessed tremendous enthusiasm among the youth from villages across the country along with the students from the colleges of the capital. Be it dancing to the songs of Kailash Kher or chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ by lighting the torch of his mobile on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his enthusiasm in all the programs was palpable.
The special thing was that in the grand ceremony organized on the path of duty, Prime Minister Narendra Modi administered oath to the youth to make a developed nation in the next 25 years. For this, thousands of youth got up from their seats and took oath with full enthusiasm, holding clay in their hands. The Prime Minister also launched ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ – My India platform for the youth in the concluding program of Amrit Kalash Yatra.
In this program, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur was also seen encouraging the youth. On this occasion, Anurag Thakur said that the outcome of Meri Mati-Mera Desh program will be so big that our future generations will continue to get inspiration of patriotism for ages. He said that by joining this program, crores of youth will move forward in the direction of making the country a developed India.
He said that under this campaign, Amrit Kalash Yatras were also taken out. Which involves the collection of soil (soil) and rice grains from more than 6 lakh villages in rural areas and wards in urban areas, which was sent to the block level and then to the state capital. The soil was sent to the national capital along with thousands of Amrit Kalash pilgrims from the state level.
In the Meri Maati Mera program, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said that this program of 1000 days of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav has concluded today. He expressed gratitude to everyone for this.
The most enthusiasm in the ceremony was seen among about a thousand youth from Jammu and Kashmir who reached the capital carrying the ashes of martyrs from the inaccessible areas of the valley. Javed, who came from Pulwama, said that it is a matter of pride for him that the soil from his area has been brought to Delhi. He told that there was tremendous enthusiasm among the youth of the valley about Meri Mati Mera Desh. After decorating their urn, they have reached here to contribute the soil of their area situated miles away.
At the same time, Shalini Bisht of Uttarakhand participated in the ceremony carrying a Kalash in her full traditional attire. He told that this is not just a ceremony but also a symbol of unity. Now everyone will be able to pay homage here to the soil brought from the villages of those who died for the country in the mountains. The Prime Minister will make Amrit Vatika here with this soil, which not only Uttarakhand but people of the entire country will be able to remember their heroes.
Jammu and Kashmir got the first award
On this occasion, the Prime Minister presented the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Award to the three top performing states or union territories. In this, Jammu and Kashmir was given the first prize, Gujarat got the second prize and Haryana and Rajasthan jointly got the third prize. Along with this, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Award was given to three top performing ministries in which the first prize was awarded to the Ministry of External Affairs, the second prize was given to the Ministry of Defense and the third prize was jointly awarded to the Ministry of Railways and the Ministry of Education.
It is noteworthy that Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign is a tribute to those brave men and women who made supreme sacrifice for the country. In the spirit of public participation, the campaign includes several programs and events organized at Panchayat, village, block, urban local bodies, state and national levels across the country. The programs included construction of Shilaphalakam (memorial) to express heartfelt gratitude to all the brave men who made the supreme sacrifice; Taking ‘Panch Prana’ pledge by people in Shilaphalakam; Planting of indigenous species and developing ‘Amrit Vatika’ (Vasudha Vandan) and felicitation ceremony to honor freedom fighters and families of deceased freedom fighters (Veer ka Vandan).
More than 2.3 lakh stone slabs were installed
More than 2.3 lakh headstones were installed in 36 states and union territories. Nearly 4 crore Panch Pran Pratigya selfies were uploaded. More than 2 lakh ‘Vireon ka Vandan’ programs were organized across the country. More than 2.36 crore indigenous saplings were planted. And 2.63 lakh Amrit Vatikas were created across the country under the Vasudha Vandan theme.
