There was a major uproar in Gandhi Chowk area of ​​Bargarh district of Odisha on Sunday, when some eunuchs attacked a traffic police officer. The incident happened when the traffic police prevented the eunuchs from forcibly asking people on red light traffic.

According to the information, as soon as the traffic signal stopped in Gandhi Chowk area, some eunuchs were going to the vehicles of the people and asking for money. They were forcibly charging money even after burning green lights. When the traffic police refused to do so, the matter was heated.

Police officer injured in attack

It is being told that the traffic police inspector Mangla Kisku was on his duty, when some eunuchs proceeded towards his car and dragged him out of the car and started assaulting them. Police officers were badly injured in this attack. He was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

High voltage drama on the middle road

After the incident, a large number of people gathered on the spot and the high voltage drama continued on the middle road for some time. Later a team of women policemen arrived and removed the eunuchs from there. The video of this entire incident has been captured in CCTV camera, which may be helpful in police investigation.

The police is investigating the case by taking both the eunuchs into custody and is preparing to take action on the basis of CCTV footage. This incident has raised many questions about law and order in the city. The general public was already upset with such forcible recovery on traffic signals, but now the attack on the police has become a matter of serious concern.
