Order to submit the investigation report in 15 days
The Karnataka government ordered a judicial inquiry into the stampede and asked to submit the report within 15 days. The CM said that the gates of the stadium were also broken, due to which there was a stampede. No one expected such a large crowd. The stadium has a capacity of only 35,000 people, but about 2 to 3 lakh people had gathered. The entire police force available in Bangalore city was deployed.
