A fierce fire broke out in a freight train carrying diesel near Thiruvallur in Tamil Nadu. However, the train has been stopped after the accident. The fire is so frightening that only smoke is seen in the sky. At the same time, many diesel filled tanks have caught fire in this accident. A video of this incident has also surfaced. At present, firemen were deployed on the spot after the fire. Efforts are being made to extinguish the fire.

Four coaches caught fire

Actually, four coaches of a freight train near Thiruvallur caught fire this morning. According to the railway, diesel was filled in this freight train and this goods train was going from Manali to Tirupati. This morning, four coaches of the goods train were hit by fire, the remaining coaches have been separated from them. This incident has affected the traffic of trains coming out of Chennai and going towards Chennai. Currently, the work of clearing the railway line is being done.

These trains were canceled

Southern Railway has issued an alert after the accident. In a post on social media platform X, South Railway said, “Train service alert! Overhead power supply has been stopped as a security measure due to the fire incident near Thiruvallur. This has made the train operations changed. Passengers are advised to see the latest updates before the journey.”

  5. Train number 16057 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Tirupati Saptagiri Express, which was going to leave Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 6.25 am on July 13.
  6. Train number 22625 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – KSR Bangalore Double Decker Express, which was going to leave Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 7.25 am on July 13.
  7. Train number 12639 Dr. MGR Chennai Central- KSR Bengaluru Vrindavan Superfast Express, which was to leave from Dr. MGR Chennai Central on July 13 at 7.40 am.
  8. Train number 16003 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Nagarasol Express, which was scheduled to leave from Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 9.15 am, is completely canceled.
