Story of Udaipur files

Vijay Raj starrer ‘Udaipur Files’ revolves around the Kanhaiyalal Sahu murder case. On 28 June 2022, two people named Gos Mohammad and Riyaz Attari entered the shop of Taylor Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur asking to sew clothes. Meanwhile, when Kanhaiyalal tried to take the name of one person, the other attacked him with a sharp weapon. During this, Kanhaiyalal kept shouting and kept telling the attackers that do not do this-but then the other climbed on him and attacked him. After this, the attacker dragged Kanhaiyalal out of the shop and brutally strangled him with a knife.

Accused caught in two days

The two attackers together brutally murdered Kanhaiyalal with a sharp weapon and escaped from the spot. Not only this, both of them also made a video of it and broadcast it on social media, after which there was a stir in the whole country. Within 2 days of Kanhaiyalal’s murder, the police arrested both the accused. However, due to suspicion of terrorist conspiracy in the case, central investigative agencies took it into their hands, but the accused who committed this heinous crime have not been punished yet.

Why is there a ruckus?

Actually, some communities believe that attempts are being made to spread hatred through this film and it can create an issue of law and order. With this claim, the release of the film is being demanded, which is releasing in theaters on July 11. Maulana Arshad Madni, president of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, also filed a petition in the Delhi High Court to stop the release of ‘Udaipur files’. In which the film was accused of spoiling communal harmony and showing objectionable scenes. Not only this, he also demanded the removal of the trailer of this film from social media.
