Apple is going to launch the new iPhone 17 series on 9 September this month. All models of the iPhone 17 series will come up with the latest iOS 26. Prior to the launch of this series, the company has rolled out the final public beta of iOS 26, in which users have started getting the biggest upgrade so far. The new iOS 26 was introduced in June this year in WWDC 2025. In the public beta version 5 of iOS 26, users will get almost all the features that they can get in its stable version.
The company has upgraded iOS 26 directly to iOS 26 after iOS 18. The company has named the mobile operating system on the basis of the year to ensure that the users do not have confusion, so that the users will not have difficulty in finding out which is the most latest operating system. The new iOS 26 will get liquid glass design, which will show translucent appearances when switching the app to the iPhone. The company has also rolled out on its official website.
These users will get access
The access of public beta of iOS 26 will be available to those users who have registered themselves for this. If you have also registered for the beta version, then you will be able to download this latest update in your iPhone. For this you have to go to your phone settings. Then go to General and search the latest iOS update.
Before downloading and installing the update, keep in mind that you have taken the data backup of your iPhone. If there is an internet connectivity or any other problem while making a beta update by mistake, then the data of users’ phone can be lost.
What’s new in iOS 26?
- The phone app has been fully redesigned in the new operating system. Users will be able to translate phones, facetime and message conversion in real time.
- Users will get the option to create a poll in the message app, as you do in WhatsApp or other social media apps.
- Apart from this, the new iOS 26 will get the option of spam call filter, which will work to filter fake calls coming on the phone in real time.
- In the photo app, users will get library and collection tabs.
- Also, users will get a visual intelligence feature along with liquid glass design in the new iOS 26.
