Ramayana will be released in two parts
The first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor starrer upcoming film ‘Ramayana’ has come out. The makers released the teaser of the Ramayana on 3 July, which saw the first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, who plays Sri Ram and Lankapati Ravana respectively in the film. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra. This ambitious film by Nitesh Tiwari has been given Bancroll (funds available) by the Prime Focus Studio of Namit Malhotra. As soon as the first glimpse of the film came out, Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studio saw a tremendous benefit and before the release of the film, the luck of the studio is seen shining in the stock market. Due to the teaser of this film, there has been a tremendous bounce in the market cap of Prime Focus Studio.
Teaser of Ramayana benefited Namit Malhotra
The Prime Focus Studio is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, where the company’s board made tremendous profits after approving the issuance of 462.7 million equity shares. This saw a jump of 30% in the company’s stock price and between June 25 to July 1, the price of the share reached Rs 113.47 to Rs 149.69. However, the first glimpse of the Ramayana took another major lead for the Prime Focus Studio led by Namit Malhotra.
Tremendous profits before the release of Ramayana
For a few days, there was a discussion of the teaser of Ramayana continuously and after July 1, as the date of the first glimpse of the film started approaching, Prime Focus shares also saw a jump. On July 3, on the day of the teaser launch of Ramayana, the Prime Focus shares reached Rs 176. With this, the company’s market cap increased from 4638 crores to 5641 crores on 1 July and with this, the makers of ‘Ramayana’ saw a jump of 1000 crores in their holding in just two days before the film’s release. By the closure of the market, the share price came to Rs 169 and the company’s market cap reached Rs 5200 crore.
Ranbir Kapoor also invests in prime focus
‘Ramayana’ star Ranbir Kapoor is also ready to become an investor in Ramayana’s production house i.e. Prime Focus Studio. The company’s board has approved the release of new shares, after which, Ranbir was one of the proposed allies. Business Standard said that Ranbir will buy 1.25 million shares of the company. Although it is not known at what cost Ranbir will buy these shares, but at his current market price, his investment is around ₹ 20 crore.
