Team India’s blessing bowler Jaspreet Bumrah recently raised questions about the workload management. In the 5 -match Test series against England, Bumrah played only three matches and remained out of the rest. Giving the example, he said, “If the doctor says that I want to take antibiotics, then I will have to take it. Similarly, if the medical team says that the player should rest, then it is better to follow his advice.”
Chetene Sharma also praised the young Indian team captained by Shubman Gill, who draws series 2–2 against England. He expressed pride in the team’s performance, saying that seeing the current form, he is confident that India will win the Asia Cup 2025 title.
He further said, “Whatever player will be chosen will be the best for the country. I am proud of the game that Team India showed in England. I am sure we will win the Asia Cup and then play brilliantly in the 2026 T20 World Cups to be held in our house.”
