The full video of Bhajji-Srisanth’s slap came out, Lalit Modi created panic after 18 years
In the first season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), fans had seen the thrill of this league, but at the same time an unfortunate incident was seen which shook the cricket world and we are talking about the notorious slap scandal in the season, including Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth.
The video of what happened between Sreesanth and Bhajji after the match in 2008 Mumbai Indians (Mi) vs. Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) has now surfaced after 18 years and this unseen footage has finally shared not by anyone else but Lalit Modi has finally shared it on social media. The then IPL founder and former president Lalit Modi has released an ignorant footage of the incident on Instagram, in which Harbhajan wearing a jersey of Mumbai Indians, KXIP team player Sreesanth can be clearly seen by slapping Sreesanth.
Speaking to former Australian captain Michael Clarke on Beyond 23 Cricket Podcast, Modi shared a part of that footage. Before showing the footage of the real incident, Modi said, “The game was over, the cameras were closed. One of my security camera was on. He captured the incident between Sreesanth and Bhajji (Harbhajan) and Bhajji gave them a splash. The video. The video. I did not make it public for so long but I am doing it after 18 years.”

With this video coming out, the memories of that slap have been refreshed once again and the fans are clearly convicted by seeing this video on social media. At the same time, recently, Harbhajan had regretted the slaping incident with Sreesanth and said that if he gets a chance, he would like to remove this one incident with Sreesanth from his career.
Well, neither Harbhajan nor Sreesanth has given any reaction on this video released by Lalit Modi so far, it will be interesting to see if any of these two reactions come to the fore.
