The news of a heartbreaking road accident has come to light from Talcher city of Odisha. A high speed white car brutally hit the people running on the road. A total of 15 people have been injured in this dreadful accident, who have been admitted to the nearby Talcher Government Hospital. This painful incident took place on the road leading from Sharma Chowk to ITI Chowk. Its CCTV footage has also surfaced, in which it can be clearly seen that some people were crossing the road. Then a white car from behind hit the people on the road tremendously.

Car dragged after accident

The collision was so fast that the scooty riders went on the bonnet of the car. The car dragged both of them very far. CCTV shows that as soon as two youths try to cross the road by sitting on the scooty, the high speed car blows them from behind. CCTV footage also showed that the car had hit many people before this. A young man wearing a blue shirt also appeared to fall on the side of the footpath, which makes it clear that the speed and negligence of the car had already harmed many people.

Dreadful video surfaced

After the accident, the police tried to stop the car on the spot, but the driver escaped with the car. After some time, the police caught the car from near the Baghua bridge area about 15 km away and took the driver into custody. Also, the car has been confiscated. The 15 people injured in the accident are undergoing treatment at the government hospital in Talcher. Many have suffered serious injuries, including scooty riders.
