The journey of this electric aircraft is even cheaper than the cab, a visit of 130 km for Rs 700
The aircraft covered 130 km for just 700 rupees
New York: Can you imagine that you are enjoying traveling from an aircraft to air and fixing 130 kilometers away but its cost is cheaper than a cab? You may not have believed to hear but it is true. Alia of Beta Technologies has become the first all electric aircraft to successfully fly with the CX300 aircraft passengers.
Long distance of fixed cost
This is the first time in aviation history that an electric aircraft has traveled such a long distance at a low cost. According to a report by Fox News, “Earlier this month, the aircraft flew from East Hampton to John F. Kennedy Airport in the US, with four passengers aboard and it covered a distance of about 70 knots (130 km) in just 30 minutes.”
Surprisingly, the cost of this flight was only Rs 694 ($ 8), while if the same journey was completed by helicopter, only the estimated cost of fuel would have been Rs 13,885 ($ 160).
This is also a specialty
Apart from this, a specialty of this electric aircraft was that passengers were able to clearly interact throughout the time due to lack of noisy engines and propellers. Regarding this, Kail Clarke, founder and CEO of Beta Technologies, said, “This is a 100% electric aircraft, flew from East Hampton to JFK with passengers, which was the first time for New York Port Authority and New York region.” We covered a distance of 70 knots in 35 minutes.
He said, ‘We cost about $ 8 on fuel to charge and fly this device. Of course, you have to pay for pilots and airplanes, but basically, it is very low. ‘
According to the company, the facilities provided by CX300 will not take long for air travel by electric aircraft to become popular among passengers. This aircraft is being discussed everywhere. In the coming time, it can be less expensive for the common man to travel by air.
