On the question of informing Pakistan to Pakistan before Operation Sindoor, the Foreign Ministry has told Rahul Gandhi that the statement of the Foreign Minister is being incorrectly taken. While sharing a video of External Affairs Minister Jaishankar, Rahul Gandhi wrote that in this video, Jaishankar is clearly seen saying that Pakistan was informed about it before Operation Sindoor. In response to this question, the Ministry of External Affairs said that the statement of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar was incorrectly taken. Pakistan was not given any information before action on terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK. In the initial phase of Operation Sindoor, Pakistan was told that India would take action on terrorist bases. During this time military bases will not be targeted and the Pakistani army can keep itself separate from this matter.

On behalf of the XP Division of the Ministry of External Affairs, it was said “External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar had said that we had warned Pakistan in the beginning, which is the initial stage after the onset of Operation Sindoor. It is being misrepresented that it is before the beginning. The facts are being completely misrepresented.”

BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari shared the fact check of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), applying and accused Rahul Gandhi of spreading fake news. The PIB had checked a fact to the claim of a journalist in a post on Thursday, alleging that Jaishankar had said that India had informed Pakistan before the operation began that it would attack terrorist bases in the country.
