The monsoon session of Parliament begins today.

This year’s monsoon session is going to start from today i.e. July 21 and it will run till August 21. However, this monsoon session will be postponed due to the Independence Day program from August 12 to August 18. Both the government and the opposition are ready for this session. On the one hand, where many important bills can be introduced by the government in this monsoon session, the opposition is preparing to surround the government on many issues. Issues like Ahmedabad plane accident, Trump’s claim on ceasefire, Pahalgam terror attack, SIR in Bihar, Operation Sindoor and Foreign Policy can be questioned by the opposition.

When is lunch time in Parliament?

There are also Question Hour and Zero Hour during the proceedings of Parliament. In the Question Hour, time is given to talk on any plan or any issue. The Question Hour is in Parliament between 11 and 12 o’clock. In this, MPs question, which the minister has to answer immediately or in writing. At the same time, after 12 o’clock, zero hour begins in Parliament. The zero hour begins at 12 noon. During this time, MPs do not need to give any kind of information before asking questions. MPs can raise their issue in Parliament with the help of speaker. At the same time, there is lunch time as soon as the zero hour is over, which lasts till 2 o’clock.

Parliament’s monsoon session starts today

The monsoon session of Parliament is going to start from today i.e. from July 21 from 2025. This session will run till one month i.e. August 21. Let us tell you that the monsoon session was about to end on August 12. However, the government has extended it for a week. The session will be postponed in the middle from August 12 to August 18 due to the programs of Independence Day. Many important bills are expected to be introduced during the session. On the other hand, all the opposition parties including the Congress are also preparing to surround the government on many issues in the monsoon session.
