The mysterious X-shaped structure seen in the Earth’s upper atmosphere, what is its connection with the solar storm
A satellite of the US space agency NASA has seen mysterious X-shaped structures in the Earth’s ion division. The ion system is an electrified area of the Earth’s atmosphere that exists due to the sun falling on the atmosphere of radiation. Currently, the earth is under the influence of solar storm. It is said that this structure was seen in 1940. NASA has said that its scientists also do not know the reason for the construction of such structures. It is not yet known what is its connection with solar storms and flames. It is too early to hold solar reaches or volcanoes responsible for this.
NASA’s Gold Mission saw X structures
NASA’s Global-Skele Observation of the Limb and Disc (Gold) Mission is a geostation satellite that has been measuring density and temperature in the Earth’s ingredient since its launch in October 2018. During the day, the density of this ion system increases as its molecules are electrically charged. This is because due to sunlight electrons are separated from atoms and molecules, making plasma that enables radio signals to travel long distances. The density of the ionalization falls at night and NASA’s launched Gold Satellite kept an eye on it.
Gold from its geostation class above the Western Hemisphere was recently studying two dense peaks of particles in the ion division north and south of the equator. As the night is, these peaks show low density bubbles that can obstruct radio and GPS signals. In its new observations, Gold found some of these familiar X shapes in the ion division. However, there was no solar or volcanic factor to make them.
Fazlul Laskar, a research scientist at the atmospheric and space physics laboratory (LASP) of the University of Colorado, said in a statement, “The previous reports of X Sankarna were only during generous weaker conditions.” Laskar is the main writer of a paper published in Space Physics in April, describing these unexpected comments.
