Pakistan rests on IMF debt

Pakistan’s economy has long been on loans received from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Sharif is emphasizing people to reduce their expenses and emphasize that this is only a phase of improvement. However, the continuous increase in the salary of ministers, advisors, MNAS, senators and now National Assembly Speaker and Senate Chairman has raised serious questions on the government’s intentions. Sharif continues to increase the number of members of his federal cabinet, which is currently standing on 51 members. The initial number of members of the federal cabinet was 21, which was later increased to 43.
