Palpal correspondent, Jabalpur. In a village in Shahpura, Jabalpur, MP, an uncle was physically abusing his niece for a year. This came to light when the minor’s health deteriorated and the family took him to the doctor’s office. After reaching the police station with her family members, the minor informed the police about the incident.

According to police officials, the couple living in a village in Shahpura continued working in Pune, Maharashtra. The 15-year-old daughter lived here with other members of the family. Taking advantage of the loneliness of the minor, the uncle raped her. After this, he was physically abusing the minor for about a year while threatening to kill her. Meanwhile the minor became pregnant. Recently, when the family had come home, the minor’s health deteriorated due to which the mother became suspicious. When they took the minor and showed her to the doctor, he informed that the minor was pregnant for five months. The parents were shocked to hear this, upon questioning whom the minor told about the uncle’s misdeeds. After this, a complaint was lodged in the police station, on which the police registered a case against the accused uncle.
