The right and scientific way to perform the Aarti of God, will get many benefits
Scientific method of aarti: In the month of Shravan, the echo of Shiva Aarti is heard in the pagoda and house to house. Aarti takes place after Rudrabhishek everywhere. However, a question often arises in the mind that in which order should the hands be rotated while performing aarti? Is there any right way? While performing the aarti of any deity in the Kali Yuga, it is not only enough to rotate the lamp, but the deep spiritual science is hidden behind it.
Aarti means dedicating its energy to God and attracting their sharp. When you rotate the platter, it is not just a tradition, but the method of energetic three major chakras – command, heart and navel cycle of the body.
The right way to perform Aarti: Whenever you get the privilege of performing the aarti of any God, whether it is Shiva, Vishnu, or Ganesh, do the aarti in this way…
-
Hold the aarti plate in hand.
-
Focus on the three chakras of God.
-
If you are performing Aarti of Shiva, then take care of the command cycle (corrupt).
-
While performing Aarti of Vishnu, take care of the heart cycle.
-
Take care of the navel cycle in Ganesha’s Aarti.
-
Keep the platter stable for a few moments.
Turn the plate in this order with the right hand
-
Start with the command cycle for Shiva and take the heart cycle, navel chakra and then to the command cycle.
-
For Vishnu, start from the heart cycle and bring back the navel cycle, command cycle and again to the heart cycle.
-
For Ganesha, start from the navel cycle and bring back to the heart cycle, command cycle and then to the navel cycle.
In this sequence, the shape of ‘ॐ’ (Omkar) is formed in the hand at the speed of the plate. When the shape of ‘4’ is made from the plate while performing the aarti, it flows into the three chakras. It is not only a dedication to God, but also the awakening of spiritual and physical energy.
Signs from the scriptures: Shiva Mahapuran (Rudra Samhita) also mentions that Aarti Chakra should be in the form of form, so that the circular flow of energy will remain. It is said in Skanda Purana: ‘Aartya Ch Pradakshina Devan Tanmay: Syad Bhaved Dhruvam’. That is, while performing the aarti, the mind is stable in the deity with rotation (circular) and the divinity comes down within the devotee. Therefore, in the month of Shravan, consider the science of motion of hands while worshiping Shiva or while performing the aarti of any deity. Not only to rotate the plate, but to energizing the chakras is the true Aarti. (This is the author’s own views, it is not necessary for Webdunia to agree with this)
