Womens World Cup 2025 Bengaluru Matches: India is hosted by the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, but the tournament will be played under the hybrid model. All the matches of Pakistan in the World Cup will be in Colombo, Sri Lanka. But just 48 days before the start of the tournament, a big screw is stuck with the stadium in India. The World Cup will start from 30 September.
In fact, initially a total of 5 matches of the tournament were given to M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. But the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) did not get the permission to host the state government, due to which some part of the tournament or the entire schedule could change.
Competition may be shifted in Thiruvananthapuram (Womens World Cup 2025)
A report published in the cricbing stated that Chinnaswamy may be compared to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. According to the report, Thiruvananthapuram is at the forefront of this case. It was further told that BCCI had given Karnataka State Cricket Association for 2 days to take permission from the government, but the state board could not succeed in it.

The report also claimed that an official announcement could be made for not competing at Chinnaswamy Stadium in a day or two. However, all are waiting for the official announcement. Along with changing the stadium, changes can also be seen in the schedule of the tournament.
The first match was to be held in Chinnaswamy
According to the official schedule released, the first match of the World Cup was to be played between India and Sri Lanka on 30 September at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Bengaluru was at the forefront for final match
Significantly, only the league matches were announced while issuing the schedule. All knockout matches, including the final, are yet to be announced. The report stated that the final match on November 02 was also to be possible in Bengaluru, but then the tournament was molded into the hybrid model due to Pakistan. If Pakistan reaches the final, the title match will be in Colombo.
