A fire broke out on Tuesday morning in a flat in the seventh floor of Shabad apartment located in Dwarka Sector-13, Delhi. Inside the flat, a father was trapped with his two children (a boy-a girl).

Both 10 -year -old children jumped from the balcony to escape. He also jumped with his father Yash Yadav (35). The three were brought to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Delhi Fire Service said that they received information about the incident at 10:01 am, after which eight fire tenders were immediately sent to the spot. Firefighters started a campaign to rescue and extinguish the fire without delay. The cause of the fire is being ascertained.

Fire department told- Two people still injured

At 12:30 pm, the fire department official said that 5 people were injured in the incident, who were taken to nearby hospitals. 4 people were admitted to Akash Hospital and 1 person to Indira Gandhi Hospital.

Two children admitted to Akash Hospital were declared dead by the on duty doctor there. A person admitted to Indira Gandhi Hospital was also declared dead by the doctor. Currently, two are undergoing treatment. All the injured were sent to the hospital before the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) arrived.

In Nangloi, 6 people saved their lives by jumping from the second floor

A two -storey house caught fire in Nangloi, Delhi in February. Both floors were hit by fire. During this time many people got stuck in the building. 6 people saved their lives by jumping from the second floor of the building. However, he is hurt. All hospitals are admitted.
