Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday led the public awareness campaign in Paltan Bazaar in Dehradun ‘public awareness campaign. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inspired local traders, voluntary organizations and citizens to use indigenous products more and more.
The Chief Minister said that this campaign is a strong attempt to spread Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for ‘self-reliant Bharat’ and ‘Vocal for Local’ to the people. He said that when we give priority to the goods manufactured in our country, both the economic situation and local employment of the country will get strength.
“Adoption of indigenous national duties”
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami said that adoption of Swadeshi is not only an economic decision, but a national duty. By adopting the mantra of “Swadeshi adopt, make the country strong” given by the Prime Minister, we can not only strengthen the economy of the country, but can also make local producers, craftsmen and small entrepreneurs self -sufficient.
Chief Minister Dhami appealed to the traders to put indigenous names on their shops, so that consumers would have a sense of confidence and pride in the indigenous. He also said that with the use of indigenous goods, not only the money of our country will remain in the country, but India will emerge more powerful on the global platform.
Resolve to participate in the creation of self -sufficient India
During the program, the Chief Minister visited the shops of Paltan Bazaar and put up stickers of “Adopt Swadeshi-Strengthen the nation”. He urged people to prioritize indigenous options in festivals, gifts and daily use. The Chief Minister said that this will not only be an inspirational initiative, but it will also strengthen our cultural identity and self -determination of India.
During this period, a large number of public representatives, business associations, voluntary organizations and citizens together resolved to adopt Swadeshi and participate in the creation of self -reliant India and gave their support to the Chief Minister. Local youth, traders and social organizations also participated active in the program. The people present supported the campaign with the slogan of “Swadeshi Apna -Desh Bachao”. Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, including public representatives and large number of local people, businessmen and businessmen were present on the occasion.
