On Thursday morning, India started playing from 264/4, but the England bowlers bowled accurately and allotted the visiting team after adding 94 runs. Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, who was injured on the first day, came out to bat after Shardul Thakur’s dismissal and completed a half -century (54 runs) playing ahead by 37 runs. Apart from them, Shardul Thakur (41) and Washington Sundar also scored a crucial 27 runs.

On the first day, Yashasvi Jaiswal (58 runs) and Sai Sudarshan (61 runs) scored half -centuries from India, while KL Rahul (46 runs) also scored crucial runs.
