When all processes meet safety standards, work will be started for the forward phase. The minister also assured that the work of the metro would be completed in a timely manner. Patna Metro will greatly improve the city’s traffic system. There will also be good employment opportunities. The priority corridor is 6.5 km long. It is a corridor between Malahi Pakri to Pataliputra Bus Terminal or New ISBT.
Metro can run from here from August 15
It is discussed that the service of the metro train will start from the next 15 August 2025 on the blue line corridor. The corridor has a total of five stations- Malahi Pakri, Khemanichak, Bhootnath, Zero Mile and New ISBT. According to the report, Patna Metro Rail Corporation (PMRC) will operate the metro train from 5 am to 11 pm. The fare is expected to be from Rs 10 to Rs 60. Currently, about 900 passengers have the ability to sit and travel in a three -coach metro.
