Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has taken a great U-turn on Wednesday in his attitude towards Pakistan. After being grudged on his earlier statement amidst tension with Pakistan and the Congress High Command’s rebuke, he said that those who are supporting Pakistan are traitors. Siddaramaiah said, ‘It is completely wrong to talk in support of Pakistan, it is treason, you understand?’ Please tell that before this, Siddaramaiah had said in relation to the Pahalgam attack that there is ‘no need for war’.
‘My statement broke’
When the ruckus increased on Siddaramaiah’s statement, he accused his statement of breaking. He changed his statement and said that war is not a solution, but if unavoidable, India should not back down. Siddaramaiah said, ‘War does not need. This means that if it is unavoidable then there should be war. There is no solution from war. I did not refuse to war. Terrorism has to be eliminated from the root. My statement was distorted. Now in the latest statement, he even said that there are traitors supporting Pakistan.
After all, why change the notes of Siddaramaiah
Explain that the Congress on Tuesday instructed its leaders, spokespersons and other officials, saying that the Pahalgam would be considered indiscipline and action will be taken to make rhetoric from the party’s official stance on the terror attack. It is believed that in view of the tough stance of the party, Siddaramaiah took away from his previous statements and took a new stand. In the last few hours, many Congress leaders had made a lot of statements and posted social media, after which the BJP got a chance to attack the Congress.
