The wait for Apple’s foldable iPhone is about to end soon. Crores of Apple fans will soon get to see iPhones that turn. The company has started production of its prototype model. According to the report, three prototypes will be built, after which it will be sent to EVT i.e. Engineering Verification Testing Phase. According to the report, Apple’s twisting iPhone can be launched next year.

Production of prototype model starts

According to information received from the supply chain, Apple’s first foldable iPhone went to the P1 prototype stage in June last month. Apple will take its standard development bicycle from P1 to P3. After this it will be sent for testing in EVT phase. After the testing bicycle is completed, its limit trial production will be done. According to the report, Apple’s foldable iPhone can be launched in the second quarter from 2026.

Each prototype of this foldable phone will last for two months. During this, Apple’s supply chain partner will complete the trial production. Apple’s production partners will then verify Foxconn and Pegatron production. After the completion of the entire process, it will be started a full-scale mass procedure. Initially Apple will produce 7 million units of this foldable phone. However, units can also be increased if market response is received later.

This market and interesting will be done due to the entry of Apple. Apple’s foldable iPhone can get a 7.8 -inch inner display and a 5.5 -inch cover display. This iPhone will be 9.2mm thick and its thickness can be 4.6mm if it is unfolded. In addition to strong hinges, features like touch ID sensors can be given.
