Sunaina Roshan spoke openly on his alcohol addiction in an interview to Siddharth Kanan some time ago. Sunaina says, ‘It was very difficult, alcohol addiction seems when you lose control over you. I was going through a very difficult period of life. I was emotionally quite vulnerable and used to resort to alcohol to slow down the heat of my feelings. This has been the most difficult time in my life. I fell down from the bed several times and hurt myself. This was a very bad time cycle in which I was stuck. For a few months all the credit cards were taken away from me and I was not given any money. All this was like a bad dream. Sunaina Roshan returned to India by overcoming alcohol addiction.
Brother Hrithik Roshan helped every step
Sunaina Roshan described her brother Hrithik as the hero of real life and true support system. Sunaina had told in an interview to News18, ‘When I was at the de -addiction center, only family members were allowed to call. I fought a lot on the phone with my brother Hrithik and said that call me back home from here. But Hrithik did not listen to me and said that for a short time let him stay there, when it is cured, it will come back home. Hrithik has been the biggest cheerleader of my life. In the whole world, he is only the only person whose opinion matters for me. She may be younger than me but I want to be like her. As he works and works hard, he is an example.
