UP ATS caught two youths.
The Anti -Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh has taken major action and arrested two accused who have planned to conspiracy against India and to spoil communal harmony in the country. Anti -national elements were being monitored by UP ATS. In this sequence, it was known that a WhatsApp group is “Reviving Islam”, with 300 Pakistani members including 3 admins. A number in this group is also connected to Uttar Pradesh.
The young man was in touch with Pakistani persons
It was found that the holder of this mobile number is Ajmal Ali of Amroha. He is promoting fundamentalist ideology towards individuals of anti -national and non -Muslim religion through various social media platforms. The suspect was called to the ATS headquarters for questioning. Accepting his crime in the interrogation, he said that he was in touch with many Pakistani individuals on social media platforms other than Reviving Islam Group on WhatsApp.
What did you find out in interrogation?
Ajmal Ali also said that he was associated with the Instagram ID of Dr. Usama Maz Sheikh, a resident of Badlapur Western in Maharashtra. Ajmal considered him his senior and mentor. Dr. Usama used to talk anti-India through his Instagram and Signal App and the elected government of India was talked about implementing the fallen Sharia.
Second person arrested from Maharashtra
In this regard, the case was registered on 01.08.25 and the accused Ajmal was arrested and sent to judicial custody as per rules. In this sequence, on 04.08.25, accused Dr. Usama Maj Sheikh was arrested from Badlapur.
How were the young men provoking people?
According to the police, the two accused were in contact with many Pakistani individuals through various social media platforms and wanted to implement Sharia law by doing Gajwa-e-Hind in India through violent jihad. Both these accused used to create anger among the new Muslims to the new Muslims and inspired them for anti -India, criminal activities.
