Rajiv Menon, who was the synimatographer of this film, says that if the film like Bombay had been released today, theater of theater would have been burnt. During an interview, Rajiv said that if Bombay is released in today’s time, then theaters are sure.

Story of bombay

The story of Bombay revolves around an inter-religious lover couple, showing a romance between a Hindu man Shekhar (Arvind Swamy) and Muslim woman Shaila Bano (Manisha Koirala), whose relationship was not approved by their family. Both run away and get married, after which both have two twins. But a terrible situation arises due to civil disturbance in Bombay, due to which Shekhar and Shaila’s parents sideline their differences to save their children and ships.
