According to the ADR report released, there are 17 women MPs and MLAs across the country who have declared themselves billionaires, while according to the report, 28 percent of women MLAs and MPs have criminal cases. 17 billionaire MPs and MLAs include six out of 75 women MPs of Lok Sabha, three out of 37 Rajya Sabha and eight of 400 women MLAs from 400 women’s legislatures. Currently, based on the affidavits submitted by 512 of 513 women MPs and MLAs, the report stated that 143 or 28 percent of these women MLAs and MPs have declared criminal cases against them.

Out of 75 Lok Sabha women MPs in criminal cases, 10 out of 37 Rajya Sabha women MPs, 109 out of 400 female MLAs have declared criminal cases against them. In addition, 78 women MPs have registered serious criminal charges like attempt to murder and even murder. It has declared 14 out of 75 Lok Sabha women MPs, 7 out of 37 Rajya Sabha women MPs and 57 out of 400 female MLAs have declared serious criminal cases against them. Criminal cases against women MPs, MLAs of which party
According to the party, BJP has the highest number of female MPs in total, 23 percent of which are criminal cases and 11 percent have serious allegations. This ratio in the Congress is high, where 34 percent of 83 female MLAs are criminal cases and 20 percent are serious allegations.
Out of 20 female MLAs of Telugu Desam Party (TDP), 65 percent have criminal cases, while 45 percent have serious cases registered.
Out of 13 female MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), 69 percent have criminal cases, while 31 percent are serious allegations.
The total declared assets of 512 women MPs and MLAs are Rs 10,417 crore, of which each MLA has average assets of Rs 20.34 crore.

Andhra Pradesh has the highest number of 24 richest female MLAs who have declared their average assets of Rs 74.22 crore.
Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu are ranked, where the only female MLA’s assets are Rs 71.44 crore.
The average assets of 15 women MLAs in Haryana are Rs 63.72 crore.
Assam, Mizoram and Manipur are at the bottom of this list, where the assets of women MLAs of these states are 2.18 crore, 2.20 crore and Rs 2.84 crore respectively.
Women MP MLA of which state educated the most
Talking about the educational qualification of female MLAs, 71 percent are graduates or have a higher degree. About 24 percent have studied from class 5 to 12, while 12 women MLAs have diplomas. The other 12 have described themselves as only literate.
The report states that 64 percent of women MPs and MLAs are between 41 and 60 years of age, while 22 percent fall in youth category between 25 to 40 years. The remaining 14 percent are between 61 and 80 years of age and the average age of female MLAs is 49 years, which is below the total average age of members in Lok Sabha (55.6 years) and Rajya Sabha (63 years), but the national average is more than 27.8 years.
