There is no disturbance during the upcoming festivals, the deployment of the state and central police forces on the state and the central police forces:
- Tight security arrangements have been made to maintain communal harmony in Bihar during major festivals like Eid, Chaiti Navratri, Chaiti Chhath and Ramnavami in the next 10 days. The police headquarters has issued clear instructions that under any circumstances the law and order will not be allowed to be affected. Along with the state police, 12 companies of central paramilitary forces have been deployed, including two companies of the Rapid Action Force (RAF).
- Action will be taken on playing DJs on more sound than prescribed
- Special vigilance is being taken on the procession and processions that come out during Ramnavami. Strict action will be taken against those who play the DJs on more sound than the standards set by the administration. The songs and music played during the procession will also be specially monitored, so that the songs that hurt one’s religious sentiments will not be played. The administration has also directed that religious processions will pass through the roads set.
- Nobody’s religious sentiments will be allowed to hurt
- Taking lessons from the violence during the Ram Navami procession in some districts last year, this time special vigilance is being taken. The administration has already initiated action against them by identifying anti -social elements. During the religious event, strict action will be taken against those who put any kind of communal comment, inflammatory speech or misleading posts on social media.
- Control room will work 24 hours during festivals
- Control rooms in all districts will be active 24 hours. Police officers as well as fire teams, health department employees, electricity department officials and other emergency services will be available in these control rooms. State Director General of Police (DGP) Vinay Kumar has instructed all Superintendents of Police to review the security arrangements in their districts and deploy additional forces as required.
- Special vigilance in sensitive areas
- All sensitive areas of the state have been identified and additional force has been deployed there. Sensitive districts include Gaya, Nalanda, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Munger, Khagaria and Rohtas, where incidents of disturbance were reported in previous years. In these areas, DSP level officials and Rapid Action Forces have been deployed in these areas. Apart from this, a quick response team equipped with anti -rioting equipment will also be in alert mode.
- Namaz will be done with the permission of administration on Eid
- During Eid, the collective prayers will be allowed to be done only by the administration at the approved places. For this, it will be mandatory to get approval before the district administration. All police stations have been instructed to increase patrolling in their respective areas and monitor suspicious activities.
