There was panic as soon as Aligarh railway station received a bomb threat

The bomb threat at the railway station on Thursday night created panic among the officials. RPF Inspector Amit Kumar Singh said that the entire premises including all seven platforms, moving area, parcel office of the station were searched. The trains were stopped and checked. Nothing was found anywhere. Caution is being exercised.

On Thursday night, two youths boarded an e-rickshaw from Bhamula of Civil Lines police station area to the railway station. On the way, both the youth were talking among themselves that a bomb blast was going to happen at Aligarh Junction. After seeing the place, he planted a bomb there so that it would explode on Friday. The e-rickshaw driver reached the police station with both the youths. After the youth got down, the e-rickshaw driver reached Bhamaula. This information was given to Bhamaula police station in-charge Usman.

Checking is done at night
At around 11 am, the post in-charge informed RPF Inspector Amit Kumar Singh. After this, checking was done by RPF Inspector, GRP and Police Station Civil Lines under the leadership of Assistant Security Commissioner Gulzar Singh.
