Four Indian Air Force officers were awarded the best war service medal.
India is going to step into the 79th year of independence. On this occasion, the brave people of Indian security forces who showed their valor in Operation Sindoor have been honored for their extraordinary valor and special service. Of these, 13 officers of the Indian Air Force have been awarded ‘War Services Medal’ and 9 officers have been awarded ‘Veer Chakra’.
9 officers honored with Veer Chakra
9 officers, including fighter pilots targeting the headquarters of terrorist groups in Operation Sindoor, have been awarded the ‘Veera Chakra’. This is India’s third largest war -time valor award. These brave officials carried out accurate attacks on the Muridke of Pakistan and the terrorist bases located in Bahawalpur. In addition, he also caused heavy damage to Pakistan’s military properties. The Indian Air Force also killed at least six Pakistani aircraft during this action.

13 officers honored with war service medal
13 officers have been awarded the ‘War Services Medal’ for successfully carrying out defense and air strikes. Officers receiving this honor include senior officials like Air Vice Marshal Joseph Surace, Air Vice Marshal Prajwal Singh and Air Commodore Ashok Raj Thakur.

Four Indian Air Force officials have been awarded the best war service medal for Operation Sindoor. These include Air Force Deputy Chief Air Marshal Nandeshwar Tiwari, Western Air Command Commander Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra and Air Marshal Awadhesh Bharti, Director General of Air Expedition.
