Film makers tried to present everything to the audience with easy praise from Indian texts, Puranas to religious stories. Some of these were successful, and some failed. After the epic ‘Kalki 2898’ directed by Nag Ashwin, the makers are now focused on making movies inspired by mythology. Ramayana

Ever since the first look of Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ has come out, people have been eagerly waiting for the release of this film. Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi’s ‘Ramayana’ is said to be the most expensive film in India so far, which has a budget of 4000 crores. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi Sita, Yash Ravana, Bobby Deol Hanuman and Ravi Dubey Laxman. In two parts, the film will be released in theaters. The first part will be released on Diwali 2026 and the second Diwali on 2027.

Mahavatar Narasimha
People have liked the post and trailer of ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ made in collaboration with Chim Productions, Hombale Films. This will be the first film of the Cinematic Universe on Narasimha Mahavatar. This animated film is of Narasimha, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, which is half -lion and half of human form. Released in 3D and five Indian languages on 25 July, the film is being described as the largest mythological franchise in India so far.

Mahabharata
Superstar Aamir Khan has announced his plan to build ‘Mahabharata’, one of the biggest and most difficult Indian epics. However, so far the actor has not given any update regarding its cast, budget and release. Mahabharata is a dream project of Aamir, which he wants to make as a series. He revealed on the screening of ‘Stars Bhumi Par’ that what he intends behind this Big Budget Project. The actor said, “I want to show Indian culture and history deeply in this film and for this they are taking time to choose the right artists.”

Kantara: Chapter 1
‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ was announced after the blockbuster written and directed by Rishabh Shetty, released in 2022. This sequel will again take the audience in memorable time of the past and expose the events that took place first. This prequel is based on the sacred bond between man, nature and God. Based on ancient traditions, folklore and spiritual beliefs, this story promises a mysterious journey of the past. Directed by Rishabh Shetty and directed, the film will be released on 2 October 2025.

Jai Hanuman
‘Jai Hanuman’ is a very important chapter of Indian mythology. Directed by Prashant Verma, known for the superhit film ‘Hanuman’, the film stars Rishabh Shetty as Lord Hanuman.
