“They kept frying with bullets, we went to feed Biryani”, JP Nadda’s attack on Congress
JP Nadda
New Delhi: Union Minister J.P. during a special discussion on ‘Operation Sindoor’ in Rajya Sabha. Nadda accused the previous Congress -led government of lax in dealing with terrorism. Nadda said that despite the 2005 Delhi serial bomb blasts, the Varanasi terror attack of 2006 and the 2006 Mumbai local trains, the then government did not take any concrete action.
JP Nadda said in his address, “The issue is that then terror, trade and tourism between India and Pakistan continued together.” Referring to the 2008 Jaipur bomb blasts, he also questioned the boundaries of appeasement of the Congress government. Nadda said that even after these blasts made by the Indian Mujahideen, India and Pakistan agreed to the specific beliefs and good measures.
He said in a tone, “They kept frying us with bullets and we went to feed them biryani.” Nadda also alleged that the then government had allowed a “triple-entry permit” to cross the LOC (LOC), which promoted the infiltration of terrorists.
