This was revealed by Madhu herself in an interview and told that Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Suryavansham’ was offered to him, but he refused to do the film. He also revealed the reason behind this and told that when he was offered this film, the date of his wedding was also fixed, due to which he decided not to do Suryavansham and started preparing for his wedding.
Special treatment was not found even after Hema Malini’s niece
Madhu said in a conversation with the waves retro – ‘I started to be depressed before going on the set. Sometimes I started getting irritated by what I wanted the most. At the time when I was offered Suryavansham, at the same time my wedding date was also fixed, due to which I had to say this film. Along with this, he also told how he never got any special treatment despite being a niece of Hema Malini. In 1999, Madhu married Anand Shah, who is the cousin of Juhi Chawla’s husband Jai Mehta.
