Dark trailer release
The trailer of the upcoming series of Prime Video ‘Dark’ was released on Friday. This series of eight episodes offers psychological horror and an entertaining mix of the drama. The series based on Mumbai’s background is based on a stressful investigation began after a young woman disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Inspector Kalpana Kadam (starred by Priya Bapat) and Jai (Karanvir Malhotra), a distressed medical student, find themselves in a dark world where reality and bad dreams begin to blur. As they go in depth, they are revealed by a terrible power hidden in the mysteries and shadows.

The series includes Prajakta Koli, Surveen Chawla, Vatsal Sheth, Parveen Dabas and Pranay Pachauri. It is built by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Kasim Jagmagia, Mohit Shah and Karan Anshuman under the Excel Entertainment banner. The series is directed by Raghav Dar and written by Gaurav Desai, Raghav Dar, Chintan Sarada and Karan Anshuman. According to the press note, director Raghav, while talking about the series, said, ‘Our idea was never to depend on traditional horror trops, but to find fear more psychological, something that arises from ambition, guilty and mysteries that we press deep within us. We have created a world where the options made by the people create fear, where science and supernatural disturbing methods are found. At its core, darkness is about the darkness that we often carry inadvertently. And through this series, we wanted to show the mirror to that internal chaos, as well as to provide an entertaining, exciting ride. It is scary, yes, but with a purpose, and a beating that looks very real. ‘
Prajakta Koli’s strong acting will be seen
Prajakta Koli, who played an important role in the series, shared her views, saying, ‘I immediately got affected by the world of’ dark ‘. This is a psychological scary story, but basically it is about the existence of mind, truth and identity. ‘ Prajakta said, ‘My character is impulsive, courageous and often modified, yet she is very impressed by things that she is not able to understand. Being a part of such a scary and emotionally story story has been an unforgettable experience. I am really waiting eagerly that the audience should get drawn into this world and see how the mystery slowly comes out. ‘Dark’ will be released on prime video on 14 August.
