One such star recently spoke openly about his struggle and revealed the days when he had to plant an egg for his livelihood. There was a time in the life of this actor, who has worked with superstars like Ajay Devgan and Ranbir Kapoor, when it did not even have tea. We are talking about 49 -year -old Ishtiaq Khan, who graduated from the National School of Drama and then taught people and used to sell omelets where he used to teach.
When the student reached the egg stall
Ishtiaq Khan revealed this in a conversation with Hindi Rush. Ishtiaq became emotional remembering the difficult days of his life. He said- ‘In the evening, some of us used to stall eggs. I also used to take contracts from college for play and dance performance. One day, a student of mine came to my stall and was surprised to see his ‘sir’ selling eggs. I was embarrassed as soon as I saw my student. I could not understand how to show my face in school. Children respected me. So the next day I did not go to school. ‘
Friend’s learning worked
Ishtiaq further says- ‘That child came again, this time with his father. He came on a scooter with his father and introduced me to his father and said, “These are our teachers.” The father looked at me, but did not say anything. Then a senior of my senior told me that I should not be ashamed of this work. He told me- ‘Are you not stealing? Then what shame?
Friends never made them feel small
Ishtiaq Khan says that he has grown up in a small town and has always taught him to respect and love others. Ishtiaq continued his point and said- ‘All my friends knew that I did not have money, so none of them have asked me to give money for tea. There were always good people around me, due to which I also became a good person. My friends never made me feel small. He never made me realize that I do not have the right over his things.
Big shock when coming to Mumbai
Ishtiaq also remembered its early days in Mumbai. He said, “I had friendship with all, with rich children and people whom people did not talk to at all … I got a big shock when I came to Mumbai.
