Dividend stocks: Non-banking financial company Bajaj Finance released financial results on Tuesday. Bajaj Finance reported to the stock market that his profit increased by 16 percent to Rs 3940 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25. The company had a net profit of Rs 3402 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2023-24. The company said in an exchange filing on Tuesday that their income increased to Rs 15,808 crore in the January-March quarter of FY 2024-25, which was Rs 12,764 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Bajaj Finance’s interest income also increased well
The company’s interest income increased from Rs 11,201 crore to Rs 13,824 crore from a year ago. By March 31, 2025, Bajaj Finance’s AUM increased 26 percent to Rs 4,16,661 crore. The company said that till March 31, 2025, its gross non-performing assets (NPA) were 0.96 percent and NEPA 0.44 percent.
Dividend of Rs 56 will be available on 1 stock
With the release of financial results, the company’s board of directors have recommended a total of Rs 56 dividend on each stock for shareholders. Bajaj Finance said in the exchange filing that a final dividend of Rs 44 has been recommended on each share with a face value of Rs 2 for shareholders. Along with this, a special dividend of Rs 12 has also been recommended. With this, shareholders will get a total dividend of Rs 56 on each stock.
Dividend money will be transferred to account by July 28
Bajaj Finance has fixed a record date on 30 May for payment of dividend. The company said that if the payment of dividend in AGM is approved, then the dividend money will be transferred to the bank account of shareholders by July 28.
