Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan are in the lead roles, while Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Ranjit and Johnny Lever are in assistant characters. Women artists include Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Soundarya Sharma, while Chunky Pandey and Dino Moriya also play in lead roles.

Housefull 5 begins on a luxurious cruise liner and focuses on a murder mystery. Shortly after an announcement by a billionaire that his property will be given to his successor Jolly, he is found dead. Housefull 5 has received a mixed response from all and has so far earned around Rs 160 crore at the Indian box office.
