Who is Ahmadiyya Muslims?
Ahmadiyya community is a religious movement that Mirza Ghulam Ahmed started in 1889 in Kadian (currently India) in Punjab province of British India. It began as a reformist sect within Islam. The people of the Ahmadiyya community consider themselves Muslims and follow the 5 basic principles of Islam Namaz, Roja, Zakat, Haj, and Tauheed. However, some beliefs of the Ahmadiyas community are different from mainstream Sunni and Shia Muslims. Ahmadiyya Mirza considers Ghulam Ahmed as the last Prophet. This belief of Ahmadis is the main reason for the dispute between mainstream Muslims who consider Prophet Muhammad to be the last Prophet. (Language)
