He was passing through the Cape of Good Hope (dangerous maritime area of South Africa) on his business journey. This place is notorious for the incidents of sinking storms and ships.

According to the story, when the fierce storm broke the havoc on the captain’s ship, the sailors requested him to shore the ship. The captain was arrogant and stubborn, he did not listen to anyone. The captain said, “Even if I have to wander in the sea forever, but I will cross this storm.”
