On 15 November 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Rani Kamalapati railway station located in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. It was earlier known as Habibganj station. This station has been developed under Public-Private Partnership-PPP, which is proof that private sector skills and government infrastructure can bring a big revolution. This station has been developed by Bansal Group.
This station is built on the lines of Heidelberg railway station in Germany, which is famous for its architecture and modern facilities. The project was successfully completed by Bansal Group in collaboration with the Indian Railway Station Development Corporation (IRSDC). It is worth noting that the station is owned by the Indian Railways, but the responsibility of operations and maintenance has been entrusted to the private sector, which is getting better services but also maintains public control.

, Special arrangements for Divyang: The station has a lift, escalator and ramp facility for disabled passengers, so that they do not have any problem in reaching the platform.
, Accessible: Passengers have the facility of underpass and footover bridge to reach the platform, so that they do not need to cross the railway track.
