Birth of Naseeruddin Shah
Naseeruddin Shah was born on 20 July 1950 in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his graduation from Aligarh Muslim University, but he always wanted to go to the field of acting. In such a situation, he took admission in the National School of Drama for acting. It was not easy for him to step into the world of films, as his father did not want him to become an actor. Naseeruddin Shah’s father was strongly against his decision to become an actor, but he chose to fulfill his dream by not obeying his father.
Dada and uncle moved to Pakistan
Naseeruddin Shah’s father’s name was Ali Mohammad Shah, who used to be a Tehsildar. Then there was a partition between India and Pakistan, then his grandfather and uncle chose to go to Pakistan. Naseeruddin Shah’s father was the only one in his family, who chose to live in India. Naseeruddin Shah’s father wanted his children to become an officer by studying, but Naseer Saheb did not feel like acting in studies. He had a tremendous attachment to cricket, theater and films. Father broke ties
Naseeruddin Shah distanced his father to take admission in the National School of Drama. Naseeruddin Shah could not even reach the father’s night
When Naseeruddin Shah’s father passed away, he could not reach his Mayet. But, then he went to his grave and kept talking for hours. Whatever things were in his heart, he all sat on his father’s grave. He felt that someone was listening to him. Naseeruddin Shah had fled his house in puberty, which he still is guilty about.
