According to reports, Gambhir was initially against the inclusion of Sai Sudarshan in the team for the five -match Test series against England starting on 20 June. Although this left -handed talented batsman finally got a place in the team, but for this, captain Shubman Gill had to argue for about half an hour to convince Gautam Gambhir.
