In the Oval Test, which has become one of the most exciting Test matches in cricket history, Team India defeated Somavar by just 6 runs to draw series 2-2. On the fifth day, England team was moving towards victory, they needed only 35 runs to win, but Mohammad Siraj and the famous Krishna did wonders at the last moment and stopped England on 367 runs.
On the last day of the match, the way Team India returned, won the hearts of every fan. Defending the big target of 374 runs was not easy, but Siraj and the famous made history with the remaining 4 wickets on the last day.
After this tremendous victory, Rishabh Pant shared an emotional post on Instagram. He wrote, “This tour kept asking for a lot from us and in return was given more than that. Proud on this team that took care of themselves in every situation, revenge and fighting till the last.
Significantly, during the series, Pant played only seven innings, but scored 479 runs at an average of 68.43, including two centuries and three half -centuries. He was injured while playing reverse sweep in the Manchester Test and then on the last side of the five Tests.
