Those who weaken Hemant Soren want to suppress the voice of tribals: Pappu Yadav
Ranchi, November 11 (IANS). Before the assembly elections to be held in Jharkhand, political parties in the state do not want to leave any stone unturned. In this sequence, Congress leader and independent MP Rajeev Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav spoke to IANS. He said that the people of Jharkhand are with Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and those who are trying to weaken him actually want to suppress the voice of the tribals and Jharkhand.
Pappu Yadav said that the people of Jharkhand are worried. The people here have understood that the identity of the state is under attack. We all want that the culture and identity of Jharkhand should be preserved. The situation that exists today is not hidden from anyone. Earlier in Jharkhand, small and big traders used to build here with their hard work, but now most of the traders are sitting in Delhi and doing business, and only Gujarati traders have become active here. All this money is going to Gujarat and some big industrialists.
He said that many Chief Ministers came to Jharkhand, but there was no improvement in the condition of the tribal community and the people here. Leaders like Raghuvar Das, who were once laborers, became billionaires, while tribals and common people became poor and distressed. In Jharkhand, 53 percent of the factories were closed, the hands of the youth became empty and the plates of the tribals also became empty. The ‘double engine’ government that was in power for five years did not do any work for Jharkhand.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi neither gave any central university here, nor IIT, nor IIM, nor any medical college. These governments did nothing for Jharkhand except politics of hatred and division. Narendra Modi had announced demonetization, but what were its consequences? What happened to black money? How many people were caught? What happened to the claims that were made about black money stashed abroad? If nothing concrete has been done in so many years, then it is a betrayal of the public.
After this he said that now let’s talk about infiltration, then why did PM Modi and BJP not take any concrete steps while being in power for 20 years? And now when elections are near, they talk about infiltration, whereas there is neither any border with Bangladesh nor any other problem. If there was infiltration then why was it not stopped in 20 years? This is just politics, to spread hatred. Congress had earlier also worked on reservation and job opportunities, but BJP ended the job opportunities as soon as it came. Now they talk about privatization, due to which people of OBC, ST, SC categories will lag further behind. Employment opportunities are not available, and BJP only gives speeches but does not take any concrete steps.
He further said that the people of Jharkhand are with Hemant Soren, and those who are trying to weaken him actually want to suppress the voice of the tribals and Jharkhand. They want goons from outside to come to the state and capture power, so that the money here goes to Delhi and Gujarat. The ED raids against Hemant Soren are a clear proof that BJP is doing this kind of politics due to the fear of losing the elections. The public has now understood that BJP’s politics of hatred is not going to benefit Jharkhand, rather it is harmful for the state and its people.
