Three and a half kilos of hashish recovered from two people traveling in a car in Nurpur

Hospice. Police District Noorpur has taken a major action as part of the anti-drug campaign, in which a huge consignment of hashish has been recovered. Based on a secret information, a police team recovered 3 kg 575 grams of hashish from two people traveling in a Swift Dezire car at Jounta near 24 Mile under Police Station Noorpur. During this action, the accused have been identified as Bhupinder Thakur, son of Chhappe Ram, resident of Bhumtir, Tehsil and District Kullu, and Jitendra Thakur, son of Hari Chand, resident of Bhumtir, Tehsil and District Kullu. SP Nurpur Ashok Ratna said that the police had received secret information, on the basis of which the said car was stopped during a checkpoint on Saturday morning. After interrogation, the police recovered this huge consignment of hashish. He said that a case has been registered against both the accused in Noorpur police station and they have been arrested. SP said that further action in this case is being taken as per rules and in future too, the campaign of District Police Noorpur against illegal drug trade will continue.
