The ticket was banned in India in 2020.
New Delhi: China’s short-video app Tiktok, which was banned in India 5 years ago, has once again come into the limelight. Some users said that they were able to access the ticket website, after which the speculation of its return to India on social media has intensified. However, the ticket app is still not available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and the Ticket Pock’s parent company Bittens has not yet made any official statement about the return to India.
What is the story of opening the website of the ticket?
Some users claimed that they could open the ticket website, although many people said that the website was still not opening for them. When India TV opened the website, the homepage opened, but no subpage was seen working. Many users also said the same thing, due to which it is clear that the website has not started its services in India yet. Nevertheless, the news of the partial opening of the website has created panic on social media.

Why was the ticket ban on ticket?
In June 2020, the Government of India banned 59 Chinese apps, including tickets. These also included apps like Sharete, Mi Video Calls, Club Factory and Cam Scanner. The government described these apps as a threat to national security and sovereignty. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said in its statement that these apps were involved in activities that were ‘harmful for India’s sovereignty, integrity, defense, security and public system’. The decision came at a time when tension in the Galwan Valley between India and China was at its peak.
India-China relationship is changing
Things have changed a lot in the last 5 years. There has been a 24 round of talks to resolve the border dispute between India and China, and in recent times these conversations have been positive. The tension on the border has decreased, and flights from India to China have also been announced. In addition, former US President Donald Trump has also softened relations between the two countries due to tariff policies on India and China. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping are also expected to meet later this month.
Is the return of tickets possible?
There has been no official announcement on the return of ticket -lock, which has once been one of the most downloaded apps with more than 200 million users in India, but the news of the website opening has given hope to the fans. People are discussing it with enthusiasm on social media. At present, the ticket app is banned in India, and the government approval will be necessary to resume it. But this little news has definitely raised a new hope among the fans of tickets.
